EGR 100 is a class that required for all the engineering students. This class is about engineering design, and it also can make students know how to work with team. From the class page, “Engineering design process as modeled by team-based, interdisciplinary design projects. Roles of engineers and the contributions of engineering in society. Project management, creativity and design of products and processes to specified outcomes under specified constraints. Introduction to computing tools and physical equipment in support of engineering design. Engineering ethics. Oral and written technical communications”. I am taking this class in this semester, and I learned a lot from this class. We have new challenge every week, like we need to programming the robot to follow the black line, or make the robot can pick up the ball. This is made us improved our ability of group work, because we need to always exchange our ideas and working together to make sure all those ideas are good. Also, it makes me know how to communicate with people, the group work is different from individual work, you must consider all the people in your group but not just do everything that you want. In this reason, it is also a big challenge to me, and I changed a lot from team work.
