The Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macao Bridge

     The Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macao Bridge (HZMB Main Bridge) is the longest cross-sea bridge in the world, the length of this bridge is 55 kilometers. Hong Kong- Zhuhai- Macao bridge is construction formally began on 15 December, 2009, and the last bridge tower was erected on June 12, 2017. It was originally open to traffic on October 15, 2016, but this project is at least year late and now is due to open in December 2017. Also, the functions of HZMB Main bridge are to meet the demand of passenger and freight land transport among Hong Kong, the Mainland and Macao, to establish a new land transport link between the east and west banks of the Pearl River, and to economic and sustainable development of the three places.   

 Before built HZMB Main Bridge, the build team was trying to buy the experiment and patent that built the cross-sea bridge from an European company. But the company state a ridicules price—1.5 billion RMB (about 220 million USD) for China to advisory about to build this bridge. Finally, China decided to find the solution by themselves. However, that European company think China cannot build that bridge if they do not help China, and China will pay the money to let them help China to build the bridge at last. However, China finished HZMB Main Bridge after 7 years. Also, during the 7 years, China got more than 400 patents.

 Chinese engineers made China can build HZMB Main Bridge. And this is motivated me to study hard to work for my country.
